Nosy Be is a popular tourist island, where we had, after several weeks of having gone through quite a lot, the luxury of a hotel. Here you find the Lokobe Reserve, a very small reserve but known for its black lemur. Unfortunately only few are left. These lemurs are real beauties. The females are not black but beautifully reddish brown. You also can find here many chameleons, the mantilla betseleo and several snakes.
