The Chelodina siebenrocki, also called snake-necked or side neck turtle you will find in Papua New Guinea. They live mostly into the swamps along the coast. They seldom get out of the water and love to hide away in the mud at the bottom. They can get 30 cm in length. They have a very long neck, almost as large as their shell, they can not retract their neck. When they sleep or rest they put their neck along their body.
