The Camaeleo calyptratus (Yemen chameleon) you will find in South Saoudi Arabia and in Yemen. The mails can get up to 62 cm in length, including tail, females up to 45 cm. They are beautifully coloured. The Yemen chameleon is known for his large headcrest. All chameleons are known for their good eyesight, they can move their eyes independent from one other. Prey they shoot with their long and sticky tongue (who is at least as large as their body) and roll it into their mouth.
